Senior Vice President, Sustainability Risk
Job Description
Global leader in asset and fund services and corporate governance is seeking a Sustainability Risk Officer to join Group Risk and contribute to the development of a comprehensive sustainability risk management framework.
You will have:
Proven experience implementing sustainability requirements and/or risk frameworks within a financial institution.
A demonstrable record of accomplishment.
The ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior business leaders.
Your Role:
- Monitor and assess sustainability risk requirements from regulators.
- Drive and support sustainability requirement projects/workstreams.
- Develop and maintain the Sustainability Risk Management framework, ensuring its integration with the ERM Framework.
- Collaborate with business management to incorporate sustainability risk into business strategy and set appropriate targets.
- Integrate sustainability risk controls into business processes.
- Identify and improve sustainability risk data/indicators.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert, supporting sustainability risk queries from clients.
- Liaise with and update stakeholders (risk committees, boards, regulators, clients) on sustainability risk.
- Lead the Double Materiality Assessment process for entities within the scope of CSRD.
- Assist the business in identifying, evaluating, managing, and monitoring applicable sustainability risks and double materiality assessments, presenting findings to key stakeholders.
- Promote awareness and embed sustainability requirements and practices within the business.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing risk and control awareness training and guidance to employees at all levels.

You will be an experienced risk/sustainability professional from the financial services sector, operating at a senior management level.
